what do you think? Hey, I've just completed my junior year in high school and I was planning on taking AP chemistry my senior year. The AP course offered at my school is verrry hard to pass with an A and usually jeopardizes students' GPA's. I've heard a lot of talk about the IBCC looking at regular class grades and AP grades as the same thing, and I've already gotten honors chemistry out of the way. However, I'm not really sure on the whole issue regarding whether or not the IBCC looks at GPA; I only know that I should definitely do well on my SAT II's if I want to get into a good college/good IBCC marks. The main reason I was going to take AP chemistry was to prepare myself for the SAT subject test in chemistry.
So what do you think? Should I go ahead and take the course my senior year or stick with what I have now (which is a 4.39 unweighted and a 3.8 weighted)? |
