Hmm... Im not too sure about this. But a couple of my friends are studying here as 'International Students' and have applied for the PR. This should work out fine except - you may need to come on a student visa and then apply for a PR. Which is really expensive as university fees are higher than the residents for International spots as I mentioned in my previous post. Sorry, not much help there.
