it just like in the states .you have to study 2 years of basic sciences and 2 of clinicals.but you have to start taking you USMLE part I by the end of your second year of basic sciences,in order to qualify for clinical in the state
but some student prefer to finish meds schools before attend it the USmle,it all depends on you,but not in DR
