Default General Rules

General Rules

1. Registration: To post a message or reply you need to first become a registered user. Registration is free and easy so please sign up today!

2. Civility: Please do not post hateful or offensive comments on this forum as they are neither productive nor helpful. Everyone should feel comfortable partaking in the discussions on this site. Lively discussion is encouraged but please refrain from any personal attacks.

Also, please watch your language. Instead of listing what words you can't use, I'll just list what you can use, and just assume anything worse is off-limits: shit, ass, damn, crap, hell. If you feel that your point cannot be made without the use of strong language (certainly a legitimate view), you may use asterisks to mask your f***ing language.

If users continue to break these rules, the Forum Admin reserves the right to edit/delete their posts and/or ban them from the forum. Hopefully though, it'll never have to come to this!

3. Posting:
Users should always search the forum before posting a question. More often than not, you can find plenty of general information tailor-made to fit your situation.

Users should also refrain from double posting (posting the same post in more than one thread), as this is NOT allowed, and makes our job more difficult.

All posts should be in English, unless otherwise specified by the thread. Additionally, any unpaid advertisements/spam will be deleted immediately. This forum is not here for your advertising campaign.

4. Moderators: While I do try to read all posts, I don't have time to respond to all of them. I ask moderators to help fill in gaps in the discussion. If the moderator says something I disagree with, I will post a comment with my opinion.

Moderators are selected from frequent posters. Before they are asked to become moderators, I have discussions with them outside of the forum to ensure that they have a reasonable background and a good grasp of the topic. Neither the moderators nor I have all the right answers.

5. Infallibility: It's true, we're not infallible! Posts to this forum are opinion only - and anyone's opinion can be wrong. I urge you to please consult multiple sources before making any decision for yourself on important issues. Although we honestly do try to give only correct information on here, every now and then mistakes may happen!

Obviously, no information in this forum should be regarded as medical advice of any nature and the forum administrators and members will not be held responsible for any mishap due to any information contained within this forum.
