Have my MBBS!-what now??? Please help!

    Hey docs,

I recently graduated with an MBBS, I'm from Cali, USA (so obviously I am going to practice in USA). My problem is, I don't want to go through the "traditional" clinical route. So as a compromise, I decided to specialise in Pathology. My question is, what is the exact training and education to go about becoming a Clinical Pathologist? Is the USMLE required? What residency? etc etc.... This is my first post anywhere. Thanks for the advice in advance. Peace!

Though it is a late reply it might help the other followers. If you want to move from the regular clinical routes and excel in some other field after MBBS, then one can try taking up MBA in healthcare management. At present, many doctors have been excelling in healthcare field and do improve constantly. So, if anyone tries changing your current field, then MBA in healthcare will be a good choice.
