I plan on attending med school in Dominican Republic after i graduate from high school in June 2008. What are the GPA requirements for UNIBE and other Med schools that teach in English?
Also the high school i went to did not offer Physics.
dont worry about it .Unibe required 2.5gpa.In this country they dont care about your gpa..but you have to take an entrance exam which is super easy..the exam look like the ACT or SAT,but still more like the GED exam, but I can tell you in DR is your money whats count in here.....
And dont worry about physics .your will learn that in premed .they will teach you all you need .the premed has been tailored to the med program

the rate exchange is 33 dominican pesos per one dolar, and all depends on you but..if you want to be a good Doctor? you do have to study hard just like in the states, and pass the USMLE with good grades. There is a center nearby Unibe for the the USMLEpreparacion. On the ohter hand ,but if you want to do clinicals in the states, you have to study hard .as far I know you have to be on the straight A`s,besides that. It will be a short clinical ...I heard is just like 90 days.
premed is for semester not 2 years, because you have to take summer ,is just like this ..24 credits per semester + summer 12 credits.this will take and average of a year and 1/2 ...and the med part another 3 and 1/2 year, that is your 5 years....in here you can take more credits in order to go with the program....the program has been designed for 5 years, total
