i got a few friends who are doing dentistry but they got in a few years ago.

medicine, dentistry in UK are very competetive, they should do something about it. For example open private medical and dentistry schools, but for some reason they aren't doing so.

So everyone who really wants to do medicine and dentistry is now going abroad.

I heard now even pharmacy is getting more harder to get into.

Hey ..

Yeh dentistry is more completive in UK . As I personally got accepted for medicine in UK but didn’t got accepted for dentistry .. Even thought I have a diploma in “ dental hygiene” with 1 ˝ year experience in private sector and NHS!

But hey the majority of people doing medicine or dentistry in UK are Asians ..

I dont know anyone who got into dental school this year (including me boo!) however I have lots of friends who graduated this year... there are so many V-training places as theres still a national shortage, so you can pretty much get a job wherever you apply really- oh except the surplus's (ie. C.London etc).
