    Help/ Suggestion Needed!

Hey there guys! I have a very important question to ask. I'm a 1st year BDS student in private medical college. And I'm having a really hard time with it! I never thought it to be this tough, having sacrifice everything is just not my type. I mean I can't study for 18 hrs a day, going to uni at 8 am and coming back at 4 pm is just insane and afterwards you have to complete all those assignments and review what you have studied. And thinking about I have to do this for 4 years, makes it even worse. And now I'm suffering badly mentally and physically. I'm eating one meal a day only, skipping out prayers . I'm a total mess. And since I've missed out for about 2 months, I'm lagging now which makes it even worse. So, I need a little help from others students what do they think? I plan on dropping out! But the only thing that is holding me back is its a doctor's degree we're talking about! What if I regret it later?!! I'm so confused I REALLY WANT TO DROP OUT but at the same time I'm holding back I don't know what to do!!!

    hello dr.(in advance) Joon
this is my first expression that comes after hearing from you .... 4 years of tough time will give happiness for your entire life.take a day or two off sometime. do group studies..share your thoughts with family and close friends. Being a dentist myself i would suggest you don't study dentistry enjoy it..its a subject where you learn medicine, creativity, innovations and at the last you will be the reason for bringing smiles to people.
therefore keep and enjoy your college days.

Definitely! Take your passion with you and don't think it's work you are doing. Besides, is there something that is as easy as 123? Show them what you've got!

If you are really interested in getting a BDS Degree then don’t think about anything and just move on with your career. Nothing is easy in this world, so put some efforts and see the change. Don’t think it as a duty to do, like it and move on with it. Definitely, you will find your way to succeed. Good Luck!
