I'm looking fwd on working with a children enviornment (babies) hoping ICU ward, possibly respiratory section or x-rays. I have a few colleges in mind where I'd want to transfer to. I've got my SEP (Student Educational Plan) layed out for me , so I am simplying following it I dont personally wish to own my own clinic

Hey everyone,
Welcome to the forum! I'm looking forward to reading more posts by all of you.

@Hasinah
MBBS actually refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Several countries don't offer a Doctor of Medicine(MD) degree but you can get a MBBS degree instead which is considered to be roughly the same.

Default Salaam and Hello to All

1) Assalam-u-Alaikum and Hello! My name is Junnat Sahiba and I am a Junior in a NY College and I am thinking about going to med. school in Pakistan. I know...I know...a junior in College and thinking about going to college in Pakistan!?! hmmm...Anyways this is life and I plan to LIVE IT!

2) I am interested in becoming a Physicain...this fields attract me heaven a lot!

3) Well their are many reasons; obviously its a very demanding job and i craze for these kind of oppertunities. Also i am a very curious perosn, I love doing things that involve meeting people, I am not only interested in the science aspects but i love to get involve in people's problem and try to solve them. (Not talking about personal problem not related to health and stuff!) My decision fo becoming a doctor became permanent when when i saw how horrible, stupid, and un-humance some of the doctors in Pakistan are. I decided i will never be the kind of a doctor that i have seen....those that have no respect for human life, all they want is money and they don't care for their patients. They have horrible manners, and absolutely lack communication skills. They never listen to the patient, they get irritated very quickly. Doctors suppose to have patience and have sympathy and care for their parience but rather then that....they will tell the patient is going to die...while the patient is right in that same room! and some even scold or fight with the patients when one is in extreme pain, they also have ego problems and are extremely corrupt! I want to be a doctor to show these asses that a doctors job is to have respect for the person who is in need of care and listen to the person, have sympathy with the patience rather than scold him and make faces. Ofcourse not all doctors are the same but these behaviors have given a courage to not be like them.

4) I NEVER GIVE UP!

5) I take a day at a time baby.

6) Anywhere but USA

7) Maybe...who knows. Allah knows better!
