Hi everyone!
Pozdrawiam wszystkich
My name's Piotr ( Peter ) and i'm a first year medical student in warsaw, Poland.
Recently i've been thinking about working abroad ( maybe England? )
and so i can see myself working in a big hospital somewhere in EU or US in 10 yrs time.
Neurology or surgery sounds great. Hah, my own clinic? I wouldn't mind.
I'd really like to find out some more about working opportunities in GB
( especially how to find a job in hospital with a new EU member country degree), so if you
have some information i'd be grateful to hear some basics from you!

Default introduction...

Hello all...
1) I am Pre-med...very Pre-med .

2) Would love to go into Emergency Medicine.

3) In emergency you get to help everyone that comes in.

4) Not a med student yet but looking forward to it...I will be what you call a non-traditional medical student....by the time I enter medical school I will be 36 !

5) Working very hard to get a perfect GPA to attend medical school.

6)I would go wherever I am needed.......preferably Ca. Central Valley...I hear there is a shortage of doctors in that area.

7) I would consider opening my own practice if I felt our healthcare system was not providing good healthcare to underserved communities....but right now my ideal would be a hospital setting.

8] In ten years I see myself in residency.....taking good care of my patients and family. Honestly, I can't wait until ten years pass .

Post My Intro.

Hi Fellows,

1) I am a medical student, studying in my 4th yr. at Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan.
2) I wish to specialize in Cardio-thoracic surgery or will rather choose Medical Oncology.
3) Surgery is fascinating and Oncology is intersting as well.
4) I want to be a competitive doctor in my life so that I can compete anywhere in the world.
5) I am planning for electives (research or clinical) in UK or US after I finish my 4th yr. exams. They do help a lot in getting residencies abroad. I also plan to take USMLE-1 after bmy final yr. of M.B.B.S.
6) May be intially in the US and afterwards in Pakistan.
7) I think I'll not open a clinic. I would rather opt to work as a full time faculty member in a tertiary care hospital.
8) Practicing medicine and living a happy marital life.

Hey June welcome to the forum!

We look forward to answering your questions, but please realize this is just an introductory thread, not the thread for asking specific medical school related questions!

Please start a new thread in the appropriate section of the forum and ask as many questions as you'd like!

Thanks for understanding
