hi every1!!
1.im a medical student studying in china ..and im in my 2nd year of medical.
2.ryt now im not exactly sure in which field to specialize..but hopefully endocrinology or cardiology..wll i surely can get hlp by u ppl to hlp me out to decide..
3. actually the whole human body inspires me a lot....but the endocrine and da cariovascular system inspires me da most...i jus want to go further deep into it.
4.wat makes me is diff !!.....emm i always wanted to b adoctor ..and now im finallli in a medical university..and i believe all u need is will power , belief in urslf and hardwork..and ALLAH SURELY OPENS DA PATH FOR U...
5.all i can say at dis point is im struggling hard to prove myslf a realli qualified doctor and im trying to get scholarship this semester!!good luk to me
6. im not sure abt dat ..but my home country pakistan ..cause i dont care abt money all i want to do is serve ppl ..change their lives and brinmg smiles in thier world ..dats my aim
7.yes .......my own clinic or hospital and im so determined abt it ..ive already decide da name of it ..the location . intriors ..all i need is lu and hard work to fulfill my dreams.

I m doing my 4th year of medical college in Delhi.
I want to pursue Cardio- thoracic surgery.
i am in love with this speciality from my pre- med school days.
i have successfully completed my 3 year of medical college and will be doing
research work in this dec.
will be practicing medicine in United states.
a successful cardio- thoracic surgeon.

1) What level are you in?
Pre-medical, first semester into my RN.

2) What specialty do you wish to go in?
Infectious Disease

3) Why did you choose that branch?
I've always been fascinated with pathogens. Heck, I read Virus Hunter when I was 13 years old. I knew all about Ebola before I started High School. When I lived in Atlanta I visited the CDC at least once a year.

4) What makes you different from other med school students/Doctors?
Perhaps the fascination I have with the human body and disease that has me reading everything I can find about both.

5) What steps have you taken already to prepare you for the future residency?
I have an EMT-B certification and I plan on getting as much experience as possible.

6) Where do you plan to practice medicine?
Near the beach, hopefully. Gulf Shores, Alabama is the perfect setting, but I'm willing to go where I'll get the experience and opportunities.

7) Do you plan to ever open a clinic of your own someday?
I don't know. I really enjoy the feeling that a hospital is always alive, and that appeals to me.

8) Where do you see yourself 10yrs from now?
Still married, but dealing working in the field I am passionate about. Maybe have my own home, but possessions aren't as important as achieving my goals.

I chose pediatrics because I love dealing with little ones, plus I'm very good at it. Cardiology / neurology because they both are interesting and fascinating XD

Maybe the fact that I'm friendly, optimistic and devoted to what I do.

5) What steps have you taken already to prepare you for the future residency?
I completed a first-aid course & practiced determining blood-types and sugar-levels.

6) where do you plan to pratice medicine?
The city I live in.

7) Do you plan to ever open a clinic of your own someday?
Haven't thought about it yet.

8) Where do you see yourself 10yrs from now?
A successful medical practitioner who helps improve people's lives and brings every aspect of her life in balance. =)

Hiya, i'm a pakistani studying in Malaysia who wants to do medicine from pakistan. (been told i'm a rare case lol!)

2. I'm interested in neurology but i can't say for certain until i've actually started med school.
3. The fact that there is a lot to be discovered. I enjoy investigations and have a good memory. (Although i'm not sure if those are the skills required).
4. Genetically, variations exist among us and thats all i've got to say.
5. Umm...i've spent some time in local hospitals in clinic watching doctors in action!!
6. I can't say for sure now, i guess its too early to say. however with enough experience, knowledge and confidence, i would surely open up a clinic of my own!!!

Hello to everyone. I'm Lila, I currently live in England. At the moment I'm in the middle of deciding where my country of study is going to be! I've just done my A-levels and have a place for a biomedical degree at the University of Manchester, but am contemplating on going to King Edward's in Pakistan to start my MBBS right away.
I found this forum while looking around on the internet for stuff on KE, so I hoping to gain some advice from everyone!
