About me:

1) I'm a med student and I'm in my 5th year of med school.
2) Ob/Gyn or pediatrics.
3)I love children and helping to bring in a new life. The money doesnt hurt either...lol
4)I'm a Haitian-American studying medicine in the Dominican Republic. I am determined to be a great doctor and I am committed to whatever it takes to prove myself worthy of an opportunity such as this one.
5)I have successfully completed my first 4 years of med. school and I plan on doing my research elective this dec.
6) God willing, somewhere U.S. (Connecticut).
7)Yes and hopefully provide jobs for many unemployed people in U.S.

2. Hematology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Infectious Disease, etc... the list does go on.

3. I took an online test which really didn't tell me anything I already didn't know. It gave me a list of ten things which I'd be equally good at.

4. My competetive nature, ability to think objectively, and my memory.

5. Research electives, followed by clinical electives.

6. Somewhere with nice weather, and familiar people wouldn't hurt. San francisco, CA.

7. Yes, hopefully, but for selfish reasons such as better hours and better pay. No philanthropist ideals here .

3) Pathology helps me keep in touch with the basic medical as well as clinical sciences.... unifies all medical knowledge...
Oncology.... there is so much to do... so much being done... yet so much misery ... with a smile he said "so all i can do now is to wait for my death." still haunts me..

1.) Medical Student

2.) Anesthesiology is the field I would like to specialize in.

3.) I find anesthesiology fascinating and believe that it's a field that still has a ton of growth to see and I believe I would seriously enjoy it.

4.) I feel I have the ability to stay creative and find new novel ways of doing things rather than the old beaten to death traditional ways; I think this is what is needed from physicians in this day and age.

5.) 1 clinical elective at Johns Hopkins University and 1 research elective at University of California, San Francisco.

6.) I plan to practice medicine somewhere in America, preferably close to the mountains, the ocean, the valley, and the foothills. Hmm...California comes to mind.

7.) I would love to open up a clinic of my own someday---preferably in a place where poor people need very cheap or free medical assistance.

3- It is very exciting, especially the ICU units. And I think it has got a real potential and there is a real shortage of anaesthesiologists.

4- Well what makes me different is my single minded approach to this field. I wanted to be an anasthesiologist ever since I first came in contact with these people. and ever since, I"ve been planning to join this field.

5- Well I'm not gonna do residency in this field. I'm gonna do my house job in surgery and medicine. This way I'll be a proper doctor first. I've done a months observership in ICU.

6- I plan to practise it here in Pakistan.
