| Obviously there's less competition in gaining admission to private schools since many local students can't afford the tuition. In the long run it doesn't really matter what your teachers say, as long as the education is good. Private school teachers make fun of their students and compare them to government school students and I'm sure government school teachers ridicule their students for some other reason. Med school is about learning, not about becoming best friends with your teachers. If little things like this bother you, you'll have a tough road ahead.
Oh and please use the EDIT function rather than posting multiple times in a row.
Thanks.

| teachers are a$$holes everywhere in pakistan for some reason they like to take it out on people subservient to them.. its just not the medical profession its everywhere.. when they were kids people in charge treated them badly so now they do it to others. People in pakistan have low esteem and confidence it makes them feel better and important to be rude and make you bend over backwards just to get their signature on a piece of paper.. they like putting people down to make themselves feel better | | | |

| it isn't like that at most places. what we should do in that particular scenario is to prove them wrong by our hard work and achievements...
Competitions these day is also getting tough for private colleges too.
In conclusion, it is up to the person to define his/her own image...
