So How Many Of U Guys Are Thinking Of Applying To Rlmc?
just wanted to know how many students are going to join rashid latif medical college?
Its almost a new college as the most seniors of this college are now going to be in their 5th year but it is amazing college for people who couldn't perform well in their mcat or fsc. Its aggregate last year was 70%. Plus this year they are going to start a new program for usmle which will be amazing for those students planning on going to America after doing their mbbs.
SO let me know if you guys are interested ill be happy to answer any ques related to the uni cuz i am student thereSeptember 2nd, 2014, 09:02 PM #2

I'm planning on applying. I got a few questions for you, hows the faculty, the campus, the other students, how well do they prepare you for the UHS exams, how good is the clinical training at the hospital and your overall opinion on the college.
Thank you for your information.September 3rd, 2014, 10:49 PM #5
no on a serious note,
the faculty is amazing there are some teachers which are jst so good at explaining that sometimes u dont have to read it from the book and you are ready to answer any question on it. But obvi like any other college there r some teachers who are mean and just uptight about everything. Otherwise all the other helping staff are very welcoming.
about the campus i am sure u will be pleased by it but u can see it for urself on its website
The Medical College is attached with two teaching hospitals, on-campus Arif memorial teaching hospital and well renowned Hameed latif hospital situated opp. Gaddafi Stadium also on Ferozepur Road, Lahore. the college has a purpose built campus better than sharif med colg and it has air conditioned lecture halls. Hameed lateef hospital is really COOL for postgraduation studies . Docs from other med colgs come at Hameed Lateef for post graduation . So u ppl will definitely b given priority thr after completion of ur mbbs.
its a neutral atmosphere i mean some students are very very helpful about how to study and what to do blah blah and some are just mean and always giving this look.
i think they prepare really well cuz there are 2 class tests every week and then after 7-8 weeks u will have the first term and after that again class tests and then term 2 and then finally send up in which the course of whole year will be included so by that u will know wht are your weak points and how to make them better before the prof.So basically what i mean is that there are so many tests that you are in touch with what is going on. And the teachers are always begging us that if we have any ques please meet them at their office so that they can clear it up so yeah they are really helpful
havent had much clinical experience cuz i am in my 2nd year
So just to sum up when i joined it i was really hesistant abt this uni but now i am kind of proud of my decision. i hope it turns out the same for you
ohhh the negative point about it is that it is 30km away from kalma chowk so its almost a 25-30 min drive but they provide very good transport facilities so hopefully that shouldnt be the problem

I may be biased entirely abt my opinion of the institute,
bcz who doesnt love wearing their college colors high and proud.
but...for one thing,
i cant be more objective...
and that is the perfect blend and fusion of nearly every having sort of a brilliant mind in our teachers,
yes, there are the grouchy,
If u hav a sky high aim,
and u care to reach for it,
if these ppl cant gently coax and push you to it,
rebuke, scold, wring your nerves to snapping to it.
and they make u realize every step of the way whats at stake.
that was for the frowning lot of proffessors.
the more lively lot goes explaining an entire series of reactions tht make ur brain a squishy jelly,
and then go like "is mein kya rocket science thi?" Just to keep the air from saturating with complexity.

Yes, I was wondering if I would be legible to apply there at RLMC. You see, My O/A level equivalence to Fsc. is 69.75% and I got nearly 550 marks in MCAT. So, I was wondering if I would be legible to apply there and if I would have any chance of getting into the college ? A quick reply will be much appreciated. Thank you!September 4th, 2014, 04:50 PM #8September 4th, 2014, 05:38 PM #9

Alright. Thank you very much! When are admissions opening over there ? I need to get things done as quick as possible. I don't want to repeat another year.September 4th, 2014, 06:08 PM #10September 5th, 2014, 04:58 PM #11September 11th, 2014, 08:58 PM #12
Can I get into MBBS with 71.48 UHS aggregate? Please don't over-hype RLMC just as yet, the higher aggregate walays might hear youSeptember 12th, 2014, 10:13 AM #13September 12th, 2014, 04:39 PM #14September 12th, 2014, 08:05 PM #15September 23rd, 2014, 02:49 PM #16
shezzy my aggregate is 58% UHS.My o-level marks are (709/900), FSc(765/1100) and mcat (497/1100).so would i get in there .so what u thnk and if they start up BDs this time then what about that .Plz rply urgently thnksSeptember 23rd, 2014, 05:10 PM #17
well i am not sure abt 58% aggregate cuz last year merit was around 71-72% but there were some students with 65-70% aswell so it was somewht flexible
58% is way too low to for them to be flexible. now idk if they take any donation or anything but u can always go the uni and ask one of the administration guy abt it. my suggestion is that u shld still apply for it u might get lucky but do apply to other unis too. and if u dont mind doing bds then u will have alot of options for uni cuz bds aggregate ie in private med colleges is usually around 60-65%. if rlmc does inaugurate their bds program this year so as it will be their first batch they will take any1 above 55% because 1-its new 2-its bds so merit is always lower than mbbsSeptember 23rd, 2014, 09:40 PM #18
Will i be able to get in RLMC i have 78.6% aggregate??September 23rd, 2014, 10:05 PM #19September 24th, 2014, 12:49 PM #20
I have 77.8%...will I be able to get into rlmc???
