Domicile of punjab is also a condition now. So foreign applicants would be limited cuz of it.

The fee for these seats will be the same as those of local open merit seats right? i.e. Around 20000 per annum

    (Just confirming)

As per stated by UHS, yes, the fee would be similar to local student's.

This year there's going to be overseas Pakistanis applying as well and the chances of foreign nationals who sincerely wanted to attend med-school in Pakistan are going to be squandered. I would have had no problem if it was a level playing field, either no 15% deduction in our FSc marks or the whole admission process based on just SAT marks. This rule change is driving me crazy and I've tried to contact the ministers and such but none of them have replied in their typical Pakistani style.
Students from USA who did high school in America the max they can get is 80.75. So that means the max IBCC for USA is 888/1100. I was at the IBCC office in Islamabad for six hours and they gave me 708/1100 with my 3.8 GPA in American high school.

any american high school students who intend on making IBCC equilvalency certificates make sure you get A+ grades not A or A-. The + is very important to get that 80.75 Pakistan Marks. A+ in 11th and 12th Grade English , A+ in Bio , Chem , Physics, and A+ is best academic subject such as Math or something.

The table above says -5%, where does the -15% number comes from.
If the students has number grades like 88/100 or 88%, instead of A or B on transcript than what is the deduction?

A person can keep domicile of one province. And for that he should have
    Ssc certificate
    Birth certificate
    NIC
    NIC of father
    Utility bill or land record
    Then he's issued domicile.
And dual nationals who belong to any other province other than punjab can not apply.

Its like this very simply. In our American High Schools we have to make sure we get A+ on our transcripts because the Islamabad IBCC makes A+ from USA high schools as 80.75 Pakistan marks. So they deduct ~20 marks from USA kids like me who did high school in America. Your high school GPA in high school doesn't mean **** because you could have A- grades on your transcripts and the IBCC will give you 71.25 marks which is total BS.

The "72 reserved seats for foreigners" is a joke. Only 10 of those seats are actually based on merit for people from Canada, America, Europe and Australia. The other 62 seats are for developing nations in Africa and some are for friendly countries. The Western people only get 10 seats.

As per EAD web site, for PTAP only 15 seats are available for MBBS. Rest are for Pharma, Vet and Engineering.
These 76 seats that were for SFS now are going to be pretty much out of reach for any student who goes through a 15% deduction by IBCC. The students in Middle East where Federal Board conducts FSc tests and not face a 15% deduction will win. Students in Middle East who don't do FSc but go to American or British schools face similar problems.

With A- levels a person can score pretty much in SATS.
With fsc a person can't score well in Mcat.

    How Do Obtain Application Forms?

    Hi everybody,

I wanted to ask what documents do I have to present when I go to pick up the MBBS application forms from UHS? I spoke to one of UHS representative and he mentioned that I have to provide certain documents in order to get the application forms but he never really told me what those documents are. Also, I live in Canada and I am having a hard time figuring out how I will get the application and submit it in time, because they only give us a 10 day window. Anybody know, how I can get the forms, fill them out and give it to the university in time? All the help is appreciated. Thank you!!

Thank you for the quick reply. So, do I have to take anything with me when I go to pick up the admission forms or can I just go and pick them up anytime between October 1-10?
