Hey guys I got invited for the Shifa interviews for foreign candidates on the 14th. I was wondering if anyone knows how i should prepare for the interview. Also does anyone know what they grade you on or have an idea of what kind of grading rubric they follow? Thanks for the helpNovember 8th, 2015, 02:41 PM #2

Foreign students have interviews easier than locals due to fewer candidates and the whole 'in person' interviews thing. But still, read up on medical ethics, euthanasia, abortion laws, both local and international if applicable.
On stations where they ask you about yourself, try and highlight your co-curriculars, any volunteering experience in the medical field etc. On average, they are looking for the right mix, not total nerds and not people not interested in academics. So try and give them a balanced view of you.
Think of a less cliche answer for 'why you want to be a doctor' and 'why Shifa'. Don't freak out if you mess up a station, be jolly, have a lightened up mood, be confident and they'll love you. They don't want a right or wrong answer, they want to see your attitude and confidence is all.
