My name is Mahad Ali and I am an FSc 2nd Year students from Lahore.
I was wondering if someone who got admission this year could share their admission strategies. Besides MCAT, do you think we should give SAT 2 as well?December 12th, 2015, 08:38 PM #2
SAT 2 will only help you in CMH and AKU. Not a single other college accepts SAT 2. Concentrate on your FSC books. That is all there is to do. Know them like the back of your hand, score a nice merit and you can automatically get into whatever college/uni you desire.December 12th, 2015, 10:15 PM #3
Thanks man. You seem to know a lot. I will inbox you if I have amy further questions. Is that okay?December 13th, 2015, 05:29 PM #4December 13th, 2015, 05:32 PM #5December 20th, 2015, 09:43 AM #6
sat can b extremely helpful....cz in my point of view its easier to score in sat than in mcat!
i have seen people who scored only 60% in mcat getting admission in gud clgs just because they were able to score better in sat!December 20th, 2015, 12:39 PM #7December 20th, 2015, 04:57 PM #8
Only overseas students can give sat 2. If your father lives/works abroad or you have dual nationality then you can give sat 2.December 20th, 2015, 05:35 PM #9December 27th, 2015, 09:52 PM #10

Importance Of SAT II
For people applying to both AKU and CMH, how disadvantageous would it be to not have taken SAT II? Especially if their primary option is AKU.December 28th, 2015, 12:09 AM #11
If your primary option is AKU, you cannot determine if you will be giving SAT2 or AKU test, AKU will determine that so there is no advantage or disadvantage.
If you are classified as local student you have to give AKU test, if as overseas/foreign then you have to give SAT2. Download the Admissions PDF from their web site if you want to figure out whether you would be classified as foreign or local. They have their own classification system for trickier situations like if one's parents live oversea's or if one holds a different passport but lives in Pakistan and did FSc.
For CMH you have a choice, you can do SAT2 or their test. That was 2015 though, who knows they might change the rule in 2016 as they are going through many changes (total speculation).December 28th, 2015, 12:25 AM #12

I understand what you are saying about the classification process and have read the admissions PDF already. What I meant to ask was that for someone who is classified as a local applicant, what would be the advantages of taking the SAT II exam? I have a lot of students in my class who are taking the exam despite being classified as local students and I want to know whether it would help me significantly to take the exam. I don't want to take it if it does not help as it would only cut back on the time I have to prepare for the actual AKU test.December 28th, 2015, 02:12 AM #13
