    Got Admission. Wanna Repeat

Assalam-o-Alikum everyone. I have punjab's domicile and refugee state subject, so I'm eligible to take both Kashmir and Punjab's MCAT. I didn't admission through Punjab (85.0 aggregate), but got admission in one of Kashmir's medical college (85.5 aggregate). Although I did get admission, I'm thinking about repeating since I want to study in a good medical college, namely, those under UHS. I had bad aggregates this year because of my poor fsc (922) and metric (842) scores, but I scored over 950 in both kashmir and Punjab's mcat, and I'm pretty confident that if I repeat MCAT, I can score more. I'm also thinking about repeating my 1st yr of fsc (441 only). Should I repeat or just be content with the fact that I got admission in a medical college? How much does a college matter?

If you are pretty certain you can repeat that 1st year of fsc with better grades than go for it. You got to have the discipline to self study and a plan on how much you will cover each month. Why go to a Medical college if you are unsure or unsatisfied with the choice. In the grand scheme of things, one year will not matter much.

If it's a gov school with not so high fee, how about you take admission and retake the next test as well. That way, since merits rise each year, if in case you still don't make it to the college of your choice (which I hope you do), you wouldn't have wasted a year.
