    PTAP Meritttttttttttt

Hi, can anyone tell me what a good IBCC equivalence score is to earn a spot in PTAP? And does anyone know what the merit for the 15 seats not including the wait listed seats was last year and the year before? Also, do many people drop out of the 15 PTAP seats, are the people wait listed actually have a chance?? I kind of want to know where I stand. Thanks in advance!

i'm pretty sure the person with the lowest marks to get in had around 850/1100 last year but that will probably increase
not too sure about the wait-listed kids but i know that if people don't get into the college of their choice they'll drop out

I have a question as well: does anybody know if PTAP people use your IBCC equivalency AND SAT II marks to determine whether or not you get a spot? or just IBCC equivalency?

Hi im pretty sure they check to see if you have a 550 or above on the sat 2's and then they don't really use them. It is based on IBCC equivilancy. Also do you know if they count Mathamatics 1 as a sat 2 subject test we can take? I remember a person from HEC telling me it does count but does it count for PTAP? I realllly hopw it does!!

i'm think it counts as a subject we can take (thats the one i took so i hope it does)--> but i'm not 100% sure, would appreciate if someone could answer
just to clarify: do we need bio, chem, physics AND math or do we need bio, chem, physics OR math for SAT II for PTAP?

Sorry can u explain what u mean by 15 seats self finance. I am a complete layman in all this. I heard that these are seats for overseas Pakistanis in which u pay like open merit.

So PTAP seats are not like HEC seats. I believe only government colleges have them and its like 2 seats per school so yeah around 15 seats in total is about right. If you get the seat you pay the open merit price which is super cheap.

You only have to take 3 subjects for SAT 2, Bio and Chem are required, the third subject can be Physics OR Math.

according to my research you can only apply for these seats if you are a foreign national meaning you have the passport of a foreign country they aren't for overseas Pakistanis or even green card holders -- just thought I'd let you know
