Admission In MBBS On Basis Of Humanities Equivalence From IBCC

    Hello,

I took Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry at A levels and I believe you need Biology, chemistry and physics to qualify for pre-medical equivalence. I have been to IBCC and they said that I would get a humanities equivalence. However, I was told by someone that I can get admission on basis of humanities equivalence. Is this correct?

Best of luck to everyone who is applying!

To be sure it's better to check with pmdc and uhs , I'm sure they have a detail of their requirements

Before 2012, this used to be an issue but then PMDC changed their requirements and I'm sure you can get admission with a Humanities equivalence. Just search "uhs mcat et faq 2016" on Google and the 15th question in the PDF clearly states that a Humanities equivalence is completely acceptable, as long as you have studied Chemistry and Biology.
