    Do I have to take admissions test for Pakistan?

    Hi, i am a u.s.a green card holder...I am in 12 th grade so this year is my last high school year, i am planning to apply to medical colleges in pakistan...can u plzz tell me do i hav to take admission test for government colleges...I was going through different posts so i know about IBCC and getting equilancy letter and hav to study bio, chem n physics for almost a year and to take SAT 2 instead of taking admission test for private university's but my question is how much score do i need for shifa and agha khan? and second question is for government colleges do we have to take any admission test as they don't take sat?

    I'd think that you'd have to take the AKU entrance test if you're in the US. You should check the Aga Khan University's site out. They've got all the details there.

    Well for shifa and aku yes you are right you need to submit SAT score and minimum requirement is I think 550 in each subject. But thats just the score you need to apply but to be on merit it depends on number of seats available and competition for them so that depends on these 2 things. So the higher you score more chances you have because seats are usually limited. And for government sector im not sure yet but I will try to check with someone and let you know. Btw do try CMH Medical College Lahore its as good in private sector as aku in Karachi or Shifa in Inlamabad.
