the only thing is M CAT involves both concepts and craming..
it depends on your concepts whether you should join or not ...
and being an FSc student you must be a good crammer .. if i am not wrong..
well the which is more important is experience of difficulty level and time management that just comes from a regular institute ..
as i am a repeater ,, i secured 885 marks in m cat last year.. i did self study at home .. and joined crash test of starz in september..
i couldnt do well in exam because i could not manage time .. and vocab too...
you had better try the stars institute .. from my point of view thats better one
all the best:thumbsup:
awmna thnx for your advice.but listen you are saying that you could not do well in time managment and vocab.if a person practices it in crash tests then there is need of regular session or not????iam really confused here whether to or not join an academy...
by the way your opinion regarding cramming of fsc students was absolutely correct
i did try my best to manage timing in crash tests .. and i was left with 10 minutes for english portion ..
if your concepts are crystal clear and you know the short cuts to solve tricky qs in an easy way then for you joining a regular session does not matter ..
anyhow you must join the crash test.. thats really gona be fruitful..
as i am experienced let me tell you dont take it on your nerves.. its not difficult but tricky... mostly questions are book's lines asked in a confusing tone..
thats all ... take it easy and you must not waste your time in just thinking and thinking.. as i did last time...
hopes this helps you..
yes self study is very important ,stick to your text books becouse most of question are lines from book especially biology and tests is very important for practice as well.
well iam planning to join star academy in july.anyhow i will do self study until that.so what are some good practice test books for mcat???i have caravan mcat manual.....is it the best??
caravans m cat manual book is good for practice but it covers the whole syllabus..
m cat dogars brothers , ilmi objective and stars practice mcq books are also good ..
kips is not good for mcat prep. according to me.All hype, no material !!
They try to become over smart.
And yes,I heard that Al-hamd is good.I will join test session at Al-hamd
and revise syllabus at home.
