They want a minimum of 650, but higher scores get more chance of getting in!
Medgrunt plz plz do keep rechecking the number of applicants each day and post the number here!!

I'm applying, too. I didn't really want to, as I live in Lahore, but my parents say I should keep all my options open. My application will reach tomorrow, so i guess that means I'll be taking the test on the 31st, huh?August 11th, 2008, 11:43 PM #6
Im taking the shifa entrance exam this year too
and i was wondering if you guys are just studying the topics they listed in the prospectus or anything extra??August 12th, 2008, 01:40 AM #7
when theyv provided the syllabus then, i don think its goin to b from some place outsideAugust 12th, 2008, 04:55 PM #8
im just incredibly nervous
Im scared theyll bring something ive never seen beforeAugust 12th, 2008, 06:20 PM #9August 12th, 2008, 09:24 PM #10
iv been told that though the syllabus is from fsc the question may not be fsc style
there may be questions that test ones intelligence/ability to apply their concepts which, for some , might seem to be like something theyv never seen before
the only thing u need to do to solve these type of questions is to take your time and think!August 14th, 2008, 06:21 PM #11
THe applicants number crossed 1000!! And mayb its above 1500 when it closedAugust 14th, 2008, 08:50 PM #12

Anyone else worried??August 15th, 2008, 02:13 AM #13August 15th, 2008, 03:13 AM #14
Im just very nervous ive only applied to three places all of which are in islamabad and shifa is my first pick
Do you have any advice??
Like what do you think are the most important topics are??August 15th, 2008, 05:13 AM #15
the best thing you can do is get the Fsc books that are actually used here in Pakistan and then memorize them cover to cover. Seriously, cover to cover. Even who wrote them. Seriously.
I never took the test myself but I think it's an equal spread of the subjects, so don't focus more on Biology or something else thinking that they'll ask more from there than other sectionsAugust 16th, 2008, 10:07 PM #16
I gave the test last year, but missed the chance to get in. Was more confined to get in Government colleges, but bah!! Giving the test again!!
Last year there were 2500 applicants. And the test was totally frm Fsc books, not a single question frm the SAT buks!! Start memorizing thats the best long cut. But now theres not enough time to memorize all of em! Hurry!August 24th, 2008, 02:02 AM #17
yeah i took the test last year focused more on 2nd year biology and the whole exam was from the 1st year book...so please get the fsc bookss and if u cant memorizze atleast read them twice or thrice so that ur familiar wid the terms...it ws tough so prepare well...and gooodd luckkk!
