Default Medicine Or Not ??

Hey all!
I am sure there are some of you out there who wants to be a doctor or pursue a career in healthcare but have no idea which one is for you.Like you, I am also the same. That is why I have joined this forum, hopeing that someone will shed some light to me and others , of why medicine is the career to be or other healthcare professions.

I am quite sure that I want medicine but I cant seem to do it as of yet.Maybe the path has not opened up yet but I am here looking for answers and I am sure there are others who are the same.

To you out there who are already medical students or already physicians or doctors in practice, do share what medicine is really like, so people like me can further decide if medicine is for me.

Thank you !!

nothing in shanghai
just a few buildings evacuated as precaution but really nothing here
but sichuan has been more than devastated

3 days of national mourning was declared and the whole country kept 3 mins of silence last week as from 2.28pm

the wave of solidarity among chinese has been more than laudable...
and the pandas are safe though two missing

Hmm. u seem to be too concerned about the pandas. That's nice of you. Good to learn all of the capital and port city was safe. But as far as I know, there is supposed to be a med school called Chengde Medical School in the devastated region. Hope its fine.
